I have not been able to solve the movie jumpin problemI have used both the Red RiDisc Extreme's and the regular Purple ones. I know someone said that RiTek media is no good anymore, but a friend of mine gave me a dvd he had made up and it was on a regular purple disc which played absolutely fine. Another thing i noticed about my burnt discs is... they seem to have very fine circled lines on them after burning. Now i'm not talking about scratches... these lines are made by the burner. This might be completely normal, but upon checking out the disc that i got from a friend it has nearly no visible lines at all, so as you can understand i'm wondering why mines has? I have a sony dru 700a dual dvd writer. I encode with Tmpgenc express, then author with dvd author, then burn the movie. Sometimes i am encoding when i burn, should i not be doing this? Also i don't always do this, so it's not the sole cause of the problem. I just wana make movies up for my parents to watch, but it get really annoying when the movie freezes or jumps and pixelates half way through amovie they are enjoying
