  1. I am sort of new at this, so im asking you people that know about this stuff. I bought a video capture card about a year ago and have been using that to watch my television. I hooked up my comcast digital cable up to the capture card and it works fine, I am also trying to get my PS2 hooked up to my video capture card but I want to be able to keep the digital cable on the computer too. I was just wondering if this was possible and if so how do I go about doing this?

You could most likely get it connected and operational, however, most capture cards induce lag. Some cards are worse than others, and it may not be so bad that it isn't unplayable, but you'll have to try it to find out. I wouldn't get my hopes up.

if your card doesnt support more than one input, you could probably but a switch of some sorts.. radioshack would probably be a good start..

as for lag, i played a season of mvp baseball 2003 with my ps2 connected to my video capture card and never noticed any lag, i'm sure if it was anything significant i would have noticed because your recation skills have to be pretty good at that game.. it was an old ati aiw card..

    cwalk,

If you're looking for an easy way out, you could go with something as simple as an RF adapter for your PS2. Here are some on EBAY:

I'm sure you could pick one up almost anywhere. They're cheap and will do the trick. Not sure what kind of quality you're looking for. If you have the cable hooked in via coax this could be a nice fix.

To give you some better advice we'll need to know what kind of capture card you have and how you have cable hooked up to it.
    Have a good one,
