  1. I burnt a dvd with a bunch of tv episodes , and everything worked great accept for the menu . FOr some reason when i play the dvd the menu screen is black and white and has horizonatal lines that move vertically up and down the picture . The audio works fine and i can barely make out the background picture. When i hit enter on one of the links to the shows the menu if perfect for a split second before it goes to the tv show.

Any ideas? i added my own background and i added a mp3 for audio music.

Im thinking it might be a Pal/Ntsc issue, i encoded all the episodes in ntsc format , is it possible the menu is not compatible ?

Im using the new 2.0 release full version . Thanks for your help.

Did you choose NTSC menu in the menu settings? Do you get the same effect when you play the disc on your PC?

Yeah I got exactly the same. The menu was created in PAL format and my DVD player was actually set to AUTO (whihc I would have thought would work!). Like you say the menu was in black and white with a burst of colour when selecting the option.
The solution in my case was to go in the DVDs setup menu and change the system from AUTO to PAL. It was then in colour.
