Got an old Monitor i want to use for typing jobs. When I turn it on there is no problem whatsoever but after few minutes the picture becomes blurry that it is difficult to read words. Brightness and contrasts are already full and/or adjusted. I consulted our PC technician and he said that I got to open and adjust something inside the Monitor. I was not able to clarify any further though how and which should i adjust. Any ideas how to fix this problem aside from buying a new monitor?

It would help if you provided the make and model of the monitor you are using and the computer specs.

There is usually an internal focus adjustment. It is probably marked. But when the focus changes after the monitor runs a while, that is often a sign that the monitor power supply has a problem and may be failing. Not really sure if it would be worth the effort. And just to warn you - There are lethal voltages inside CRT monitors. Not something to take lightly. Check on the rear of the monitor. There may be an external adjustment.
