Hello true believers(thanks Stan LEE)
I have seen many posts regarding Virtual Dub filters and, of course, many more regarding TMPGenc filters. But I have yet to see a post comparing and contrasting the two. That is what I would like to start here. Give me your thoughts about redundant filters (i.e. sharpness in TMPGenc versus VD) about comparitive speed in frameserving using filters versus frameserving NOT using VD filters but using TMPGenc filters. Post your favorite filter combinations to make the cleanest VCD (SVCDs) and the time it took. I must confess that, although I have done some experimenting (and I will do much more having posted this) I haven't experimented too much with comparing the two filtering systems. I look forward to your posts....let the debate begin!
