    hi gents, pls any help with showtime dvd playback, what the prob is that the video is excellent but the sound is popping, cracking and echoing/repeating.

    I have removed all instances of other dvd player software + codecs, checked settings like 10 times, reinstalled etc, everything is in order in that respect.
    still no luck with the sound, my card is an SB audigy, 2 speakers with a woofer, & running latest codecs, with no sound probs using other applications games etc.

    any ideas gents?

    Try Media Player Classic.
    When I was born I was so shocked that I could'nt speak for 18 months.

    i have tried mediaplayer classic and plays dvd flawlessly.
