Recently I bought TMpgEnc Xpress to encode WMV-files to MPG. The program works just fine, everytime, when I run the project from within TMPGEnc 3.0 XPress.
BUT, when I try to use the batch tool and load serveral project into it, the result is usually problems with no video, but the sound seems to work fine. Sometimes there is no video at all. And somtimes a part of the resulting mpg-file is with video and the rest without!!!

I have searched the forum. The nick "botanic" has exactly the same problem with AVI to MPG, see the link: https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=257481&highlight=tmpgenc+xpress+batch
But he/she has got no answer.

I have asked Pegasys and they answeres mye question like this:
This a known issue, The problem is the reader of WMV file, As you know this is a Microsoft CODEC and work vis DirectShow.

As you know TMPGEnc has integrated some video file reader but essentially, this WMV reader is come from your installed Windows Media Set , but not an embedded CODEC of program.

At this case, while your encode on batch, the encode task also concerning with the previous task. When you output project with non TMPGEnc built-in CODEC , but of system, TMPGEnc will be unable to control the all timing of the procedure, and sometime cause the previous Video decoder unable to release working memory on time, however the current process of file reading has been initialed, (this usually due to your Windows System Environment and each machine will be different due to your system installation), but if in that time some reading error of system or other relative error, TMPGEnc continue with it batch programming encode non find. It will occurred the mistake that your experienced. Saving via network HDD will be the same case.
I am not a data expert, and did not understand the answer.... I asked Pegasys a second time. But they gave me no suggestion for a solution of the problem!! I canīt understand that it is no problems at all within the program itself..... only with the batch tool. Is it a misfunction in the batch tool, making it impossible to use, both wit WMV and AVI-files?? Or is it a "Microsoft problem" as Pegays says??

Does anyone have a suggestion for a sollution???
