    I want to make an explosion in a movie.. How do I do that?

    artbeats would be the easiest. Otherwise you could look at a 3d program like Houdini (great particle effects) or even 3D studio max with afterburn.

    A lost cost alternative would be alamdv. You can download a lot of explosions for it.

    Also consider Wax 2, it has a fire preset that you could probably tweak.

  8. Hollywood can take a tiny explosion and make it look huge.
    Be creative.

    In Premiere The Apple fire plug in shows under video and then the quicktime tab. This may help some but prolly not much.
