Hope someone can help me out on this one.
I´m trying with virtualdub to reencode a xvid file with Global Motion Compensation feature to a regular xvid.
Just read some post here in the videohelp forum and decided to use xvid codec with single pass, profile level AS @ L5 and used the bitrate calculator on the xvid codec to set my target bitrate.
I need the reencoded file to fit on a CD (700MB) so the target size on the calculator was set to: 716800.
With xvid 1.1.0 beta1 my final file size is never around 700MB. I got 650MB.
Last night I switched back to xvid 1.0.3 (same settings as v1.1.0) and got a 700MB file! But it took 140minutes and version 1.1.0 is realy faster (around 100min)
How can I get the correct file size for my reencoded video with version 1.1.0 beta1? Is it some kind of bug??
