  1. Hello,

I am a newbie in this video/audio area so please forgive me if I am not always finding the right terms.

I am having the following prblem. I have a mpg file from a SVCD. This mpg file has two audio tracks - german and english. I want to make a DVD out of it with Nerovision. But Nerovision always burns the DVD with the english audio track and not the german. But I want german and I was not able to find a function in Nero Vision where I am choose.
However my idea is I just cut the english audio track out of the file and then burn/complile it with NeroVison.

But which tool is able to do that. ????
There are so many tools arround that I really do not even known where to start looking. If you know one please let me know.

I'm not sure, but I think ReJig can demux audio and video track(s) even from a SVCD mpeg. So demux the video and the audio you want, multiplex back together with TMPGEnc. Run thru SVCD2DVDMPG, author with a real authoring app (TMPGEnc DVD Author comes to mind). I'm fairly certain NVE wont let you author SVCD mpeg as DVD without reencoding, which just will degrade your video quality.
You could even try just running it thru svcd2dvdmpg and then author with TDA (even if I've never tried that with multi audio track SVCD mpegs)

In Adobe Premiere (I am using 6.5), the audio option allows users to mute or duplicate left/right channel. I think most NLE have this option.
