Hi
I have 300 video clips - mpeg2 files - and I want to add on the begining of each one a description of it. I mean, from the 5th second to the 15th second to appear a text I would add.
I need some help on finding an easy and fast tool to do that, but it must support mpeg2 files. I need it to be able to open mpeg 2 and enconde it at the end on mpeg 2.

It would be easier to encode a 15 second clip of your text, and append it wherever you like in your authoring app.
DVDLab would handle this easily.Cheers, Jim

But I would like to do it like an overlay on the Video.
What software do you recommend? -
I think you should try Womble Mpeg Video Wizard, I think you could create your text in the built in title editor and then experiment by dragging it down onto your video files until you get it just the way you want. There are various options on how you can overlay the text over the video. You can get a trial version of Womble Mpeg Video Wizard, to try it out. It is a very handy program, and you could edit your mpeg2 files with it as well, and it doesn't re-encode your work, so you don't loose quality.
