    Hi all,

I have some DVDs, and I want to convert all to flash files with my text logo, and then upload on YouTube, etc...

I have used DVD Shrink to cut them into each VOB file, then I used Alive Video to Flash Converter to convert these VOBs to FLVs. So right now, I am wonder that is there any software that could just add a text to my videos without doing anything like re-edit it and then re-saving it?

I have done some researches on Google and most of the results are using a software to add the text logo, then I have to save the file to a new file, so that way usually brings me a "worse" file, and I really don't like it.

So hope you can teach me some if that's possible, I am a newbie and I'm not so good at English too, sorry about that!

    Thank you!

If you don't want to reconvert you must add the logo/text in the flash player. Use for example http://www.longtailvideo.com/players/jw-flv-player/ and you can add a logo.

And I would convert to mp4 h264 video with aac audio instead of crappy flv. See https://forum.videohelp.com/topic355179.html . You could also add a custom avisynth script to add your own logo text on the video while converting from dvd to mp4.

    Hi Baldrick,

Thanks for replying so quick! Yes, I don't want to reconvert it, so could you please help me some more the way you said? The JW, I download it but it has nothing to install, and as I said, I'm a newbie, so I have no idea with that!

The second one, I understand that advised me if I know how to set up everything correctly, so I should use mp4, instead of flv. But Baldrick, the point is I am not so pro with that, so I would like to use flv rather than anything else. I'm sorry, but you know what I'm really sock with the quality of the example video, it's really really G-R-E-A-T!

However, I also have to watch out, because it takes 2.66MB with 23s, so if I use a 5min long video file, it would take about 34MB, compare to 15MB, cause my comp doesn't have a lot of space and my internet connection is weak too!

Anyway, thank you very much for suggesting me!

Okey, you MUST reconvert if you want to upload to youtube or other flash streaming sites. The jw flv player is JUST if you are hosting the video yourself. But you can add the logo directly when you reconvert from the dvd to flv(or any other format).

Use for example avidemux to add a logo, load the vob directly from the dvd(you can also load flvs). Under video choose flv or x264 or xvid. Under filters and Misc add the logo filter and load a png image.
    Choose audio format like mp3,aac.
    Save as mp4,flv,avi.

    Hi,

I can't use the second one (avidemux) because I have to save to another file. So the first one, could you pls show me how to convert directly from the dvd to flv with a logo?

By the way, when I am trying avidemux, it asked me for a png file as a logo, so how can I save my text (in Word) to a png file for later using?

I am using Media Player Classic in K-Lite Codec Pack to play flash files, could I do something with this thing?

    Thank you,
