  1. Hey, I just bought ffmpegx and itīs a marveless tool - thank you for that. BUt I have a problem, when making a *.avi from vob-files....I always get this DIVX-Logo at the beginning of my ready *.avi...I bet it has something to do with license things - I would buy the divx codec - no problem, but how can I integrate it to ffmpegx...or are there alternatives? Thanks in advance for your suggestions, and many greetings from cologne....

  2. dude theres a setting in the codec's properties, its checked on by default!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Hey dude, and can you tell me how to change tis flag? Can I do this in ffmpegX somewhere? how can I influence the codec?

Start->Programs->Divx->Divx Codec->Decoder Configuration, Quality settings tab. Tick the box marked 'Disable Logo'

ffmpegX doesn't use the codec from DivX.com for encoding, but uses 'mpeg-4 libavc'. That makes it very unlikely the source of a logo showing up. Either it's part of the video, or your playback software puts it there.

  9. Hey, thx, buit neither is the case: the divx logo IS NOT in the source movie, nor is it activated through any player - when I pull my video into e.g. AfterEffects, the Divx logo is part of the movie....this is REALLY strange

  10. um.....

look in the directory where you installed the codec there should be a setup.exe file there, worth a try, hope it works!!!!!

Perhaps you can try removing any divx codecs from your QuickTime Library folder and see what happens then?
