Strange DivX logo apparition

When I put DirectShowSource in AviSynth, the annoying DivX logo shows up. But when I use AviSource, the movie runs without the logo. I don't have DivX installed, so I can't simply "disable logo" in DivX configurations. I have only XviD, and in its Decoder Configuration there is no "disable logo" option.

Is there image quality differences between AviSource or DirectShowSource?

I will encode my movie using AviSource for now.

AFAIK, there are not.
