    have divx movie. it lasts approx. 90 min.
    with virtualdubmod extracted wav. then saved avi without audio. then with tmpgenc converted to m2v. but instead of 90 min, tmpgenc makes approx. only 40 min length. for example, source position 00:35:52 is on 67 % of movie. with others divx, everything is ok. with this one not. is smth wrong with dvx or what?

    Probably. Or using another version of DivX. Scan for bad frames using VirtualDub MP3 Freeze. Get latest incarnation of the DivX codec.

    avifixp, virtualdub, virtualdub mp3freeze shows 0 errors....
