Seems we lost the remote control for our old ( 10+ Years) JVC TV. I was wondering which remote we can buy to replace it. Does it matter?

Radioshack has lots of universal remotes I think. Doesn't really matter which one as long as it supports JVC tv's.

Hello,
Most remotes these days will work with any brand. Just be sure to get one with several programmable buttons. That way if you have a funky menu configuration you can assign it to a button instead of having just the keypad and volume, channel changer buttons....
And get a 5 or more in one job... Those are very convenient and can handle a lot.
