  1. Hi everyone. Got two questions:

1-I have some dynamic logos for about 1 min in my divx file. it's just those announcements moving from right to left on the screen. I've been thinking about using the logo-removers, but thought it would be better to do it just painting the frames using Corel Paint (that accepts avi files) and exporting it later to virtualdub. Anyone tried this yet? How can I do that?
It can't be that hard. My only "guess" is that it's gonna take some time and hd space, since I've got 20 videos, 20 min in lenght!

2-there's a video file that I'm trying to convert to mpeg2 and it just keep saying at the begginning and ending of the encoding: "nothing to bserv. Decoder lag". (I guess thats the message). So.........what's wrong? Any tips?

    thanx for any info!

    Regarding point 2, what's your encoder ?

As for point one, I guess you can do it by hand, although it will take a long time, and probably look pretty average when it;s in motion. If there logos are that annoying you might be better off just croppping them instead.

I'd try one of the automated removers first, on a two minute sample, then do that same sample by hand. Compare, then decide.

  3. thanx! SORRY.. totally forgot to say the encoder:
I'm using TMPGENC using half-resolution DVD specs for more space on the disc.

My source is an divx file.. what could be wrong?

And about the logos, I'm gonna try! Where do I get some tips on cropping?? cause this annoying thing just appears sometimes in the movie. I wouldnt like to sacrifice all the scenes with cropping...

    thanx a lot again!
