i have been having a problem with the video skipping on my panasonic rv-30 not on all my vcds but on some all have been burned on imation cdrws so i dont understand why some are skipping and some are not please help

Are you are certain that the video doesn't skip when played from your hard drive? If it does, then you have a faulty file.
Have you tried to play the "faulty" cd from you cd-drive?
If it too skips, see if the CD-RW is dirty (fingermarks etc.) If it still skips - reburn it, and don't multi-task and choose a slower burning speed.
If it doesn't skip in you PC CD-Drive then it could be that either your standalone DVD Player drive is faulty (which could be anything from dirty laser lens, to onboard compatibility problems. Try using maybe even a different brand of CD-R(W)'s.
