    i have a BTC DRW1108IM drive with the firmware version B330 and some Fuji DVD+R disk with the media code YUDEN000 T02. when i burn anything on the disks it finishes 100% successfully. but when i use scandisc in nero cd-dvd speed i get results like these:

    Starting surface scan
    Good: 95.30 %
    Damaged: 0.00 %
    Unreadable: 4.70 %
    Surface scan completed

    please help me.

    also when i use liveupdate to update my firmware, when it tells me to restart when it is done i do but windows xp stols at the log off screen and i have to turn off the power

    Tayio Yuden Media is known to be problematic for BTC drives. Try upgrading your firmware.
