I'm trying to make a DVD of some flash movies to send to a friend who has no PC and only a PS2 to watch them on. I had tested some DVD+RW discs I burned for a project at work on a PS2 and they were fine, but all I have at home are DVD-R discs and they all stutter when I test them. Does anyone know if the console has a particular problem with this type of disc or did I just screw up my content somehow? The DVD-R movies I burned work great on my panasonic DVD player and on my computer, so I suspect it's the kind of disc.

I would try different media. There have been quite a few different models of the PS2's made. Some like media better than others. My PS2 will play TY and Prodisc Media but it chokes on the Good Riteks froma few years ago.

Well, the Memorex DVD+RWs from the office seemed to work on mine, so I guess I'll go buy some of those. Thanks.
