  1. Hi,

I purchased a Dvd whilst away on holiday in Mexico, it was just me and my wife swimming with Dolphins.

When we got back and tried it, it doesnt seem to work. Ive tried it in the PC and it eventually shows as 0 bytes in windows Explorer. Nero Disc Info shows that there is a track open on the disc.

I tried making an image from the disc using Isobuster to no avail.

It's a Sony DVD-R 12 mins\4.7 Gb. It looks like its got data on it (by viewing the back of the disc.

Anyone got any ideas on how I can recover the content ?

    Thanks
    Mike

  2. You should be able to rip it as vobs etc with DVDdecrypter and burn it to a new disk.

Try the disc in a differenr PC or DVD Drive.

I would say you've probably been conned into buying the dvd-r. It sounds like a bad burn to start off with.

  5. I've tried it in 2 DVD players and 1 PC. I'll take it to work and try it there tomorrow.

I've emailed the place to see if they'll send us a new one or give us a refund - I'll see what they say.

We'd really like this DVD though - Id probably pay to get contents recovered if thats an option ?
