VCDs with Nero 5.5.5.1 ??

I am burning an VCD with Nero 5.5... and keep getting the following message <Not enough memory....>. I converted an .avi file to .mpg with TMPGEnc. When i tried to burn it first it said it did not recognise the format and offered to encode it again. I let it and know it gives me the <Not enough memory....> error. The machine has more than enough memory. Pleaze Help!!!!!

Are you using the VCD template in Tmpge? or have you made your own?
Need some more info on this one.

I have seen this before myself the solution I found was to Demux my MPEG again using TMPGe, you don't loose any quality it just makes it a compliant VCD or SVCD MPEG so NERO will reconize it. I have to do this all the time with my MPEG2 that I record from my Hauppuage PVR Encoder.

I burnt my captured movie to a CD with VCD format MPEG-1 using the new NERO 5.5.5.1.

My problems is:
1.I cannot play the PC-made VCD using my Sony VCD Player.
2.Because this is my first attempt to make a VCD, I burnt the movie to a CD-RW rather than a CD-R, so that i can erase the file if the movie file cannot be played with the VCD player.

Is that because i'm using the CD-RW media that make my VCD cannot be played with VCD player(It's works with PC media player)?

OR

Anything wrong with my NERO burner setting?

Need your advice/s please....

First off, thanx to all for replying. Since I posted this query I done a bit of searching on the Net and came up with a solution (I think - still have not burnt and tried the VCD). I came accross a forum on the Nero burning software.
