  1. how do i burn divx onto a dvd with original divx setting, so that a dvd can store baout like 14 hours of crystall clear video of 640x480.

    or it is not possible unless just burnning files right onto disk?

    sorry posted onto wrong forum, it should be on dvd authoring!

    I have rjtech rj-1500dvxII.
    Works great.
    Only problem I have is irf signal. It received my Onkyo Receiver's remote signals and gets messed up.

    hi m8 you can use divx to dvd programe or use MainConcept Mpeg Encoder V1.03.01.00 i use mainconcept to put them to mpeg like use TMPGEnc DVD Author thats it the pictures fine u can fit about 4 or 5 divxs on one dvd disk hope that helps

    ...but no way you can get 14 hrs of video on a DVD - possibly if it's in DivX/XviD format, with 128 kbps audio - but "crystal clear"? Nah...

    14 hours is a bit much.

    I have some DIVX/XVID discs (of movies I legally own, of course) that put nearly two hours onto a 700MB CD.

    And you can put... 6 of those on a DVD.

    So 10+ hours. Maybe.
