Playing only the Left or the Right audio channel.

Hi,

I use TV-out to play movies and tv shows, but sometimes there is dual language (one language on the left and one language on the right). is there a way to select only the left or right channel and make it mono for the soundcard output instead of simply switching the balance on the volume control??

I know that in media player u can select left or right, but i'm using windows xp media center edition... and apparently you cant do it inside media center... so i was wondering if there's any small apps that can do the trick~~
