DVD long Chapter Breaks why???

I am having difficulty with chapter breaks recently. I use Pinancle, Ulead and DvD shrink software. Lately I have noticed that the segue from one chapter to the next is delayed almost by 1 second. This makes it extremely annoying when you want chapter breaks in a live concert and when you insert them evrything stops for a second and then resumes. Does anyone have any suggestions how I can alleviate this long break??? I want the DVD to flow smoothly....

What it sounds like you are talking about it different titles? Then there would be a pause.
If you are use one title with many chapters then not sure what to do i have never had this prob.Sorry

Let's say I have one large file and I use a program like Ulead and i make Chapter breaks from the larger file. I then have a menu which links to a particular chapter in this large file. I also have a Play it all button. IF I choose play it all and it plays the first chapter when it goes into the second chapter there is a pause.. a hesitation so to speak that reminds me of the 2 second breaks between chapters on VCD's. I used to have no problem it used to flow from one chapter to the next seamlessly without a pause. any ideas Why all of a sudden am I getting this pause?

Wow I have never had this problem .Are you using Ulead Movie Factory? or Ulead Workshop? I use workshop and never had this happen.

What is the specs of the Mpegs you are using?I remember a time when I tried to Author a mpg2 from a DVD, I had DeMux then ReMux , so the chapters would work like they should.It wouldnt pause,What would happen is if i set a chapter at 2mins it would Jump to the 3min mark.

I believe I solved the problem..... in case anyone runs into this problem. I reinstalled Ulead for the 5th time and decided not to include the Patch that came with my version and it alleviated the long chapter breaks... Maybe I had an old patch that was updated... but leaving out the patch seems to do the trick.
