  1. When I use my DVD +R discs in my set-top DVD recorder I can add more to it until it's full. For example, I can record a 1 hr show then later on record another 1 hr show.

With my DVD writer (computer) once I add something to the DVD +R (like an authored video) it will no longer accept any more videos, even if it is less than half used (1-2 gb used max.). Is there a way to change setting when burning to allow me to add more to the DVD later on?

Same question with +RW discs - I don't seem to be able to add on to one, just erase and write to the blank disc. Ant way to keep what's on there and add more?

    Hello,

Just don't FINALIZE the disc until you're done. FINALIZING makes it full and unable to be added to.

Though a RW can be erased obviously
