NorthEast is getting slammed with our first snowstorm of the season... 8-10" down and another 8 to 16" is expected... and everyone, I mean everyone, is online in the northeast... I think I hitting about 100k and this about max tonite...Verizon DSL users... taking up all my bandwidth

funny this thread came up.. ive been messing around thinking i had spyware or something cuz mine is jumping from 512k to 2.3m from my normal 3m -3.5.. damn slow tonight.. good to know its not just me

holy crap. And I was whining becuase Friday it was 76 and today it was in the mid 50's and a little windy. Guess I need to count my blessings.

Our cable connection was getting slower and slower. We would reboot the
router and it would speed up for a while.
Finally we shut down everything, including PCs, router, modem, etc for
an entire night. The speed was back up over 2000 again!
Sometimes just shut off everything and reboot hours later, not
just minutes. It worked here.

No bandwith issues here but then again we didn't get 2 feet of snow only 4" on top of the 4 we already had.
Speeds for me right now: Down 2827 kbps Up 359 kbps -
