I don't have the answer but why don't you just test it with one of the VCDs you've made for your DVD Player?
I only dream in black & white...

  3. thanks dhruv but i've already tried, and it didn't work, apparently it was unable to read the vcd, but it works on the computer no worries, they were back up copies too.
    thanks anyway.

  4. bumpa i dont suggest you watch your VCDs with PSX ...PSX was not designed to play streaming video for a long time soo the lazer might get damaged and your PSX might over heat and render it useless...one other solotion is to buy a External fan to coll down the PSX.....i love the origanl PSX..what a classic

  5. There's a plugin that goes into the port at the back. You'll have to search Yahoo for it.

    bumpa,
I've previously done a comparison on my son's PSX (Model SCPH-7502) with a Movie Card Adapter.

In short, i'ts not worth it. While the picture was slightly more grainy when compared to the DVD player, the big let-down was the sound. The DVD player was far superior even though both were played through the same home theatre system.

    Regards,

  7. to all of the above, thanks all for your reply's, i have since found out that the newer version of playstation one can play vcd's through the adapter, but i don't think i'll go ahead with it, unless there is another solution.
    once again thanks ronin2,shabubu,pinoy2201,and dhruv.
