    I'm Trying to convert about 100 Cassette Tapes & albums to CD. The way I'm doing it is too slow, Does anyone have a unique way of doing it. I just way a few other options. Thanks!!!!!!!

    The only way I know to do it is to run a microphone into the line-in jack and make your recording source the line in link.

    There are not really that many more ways to do it.

    How are you doing it at the moment ?

    Aside from buying a component CD recorder and recording directly, I can't think of a faster way.

    As of right now I'm recording it to a VHS tape & then dubbing it to DVD then using computer to make a CD for Car. Theres got to be a easier way..............

    Get a RCA to mini jack adapter and plug it into your mic on your soundcard.

    Yep, just hook up your tape deck's output (either line out or headphone jack) into line in on your PC, then use software to record to MP3 on the fly (if HDD space is at a premium), or you can even use windows sound recorder to record to WAV.
