    if i back up my dvd with just the 5.1 ac3 and not the 2 channel ac3, will the sound be ok when i watch it on my stereo tv, or will the sound only work when i watch it on my entertainment center with the 5.1 surround sound??

    sorry if this was asked before i couldn't seem to find a answer then searching..

    Yes your DVD player will downsample the 5.1 to 2.0. As long as you have the audio going to the TV, you'll be OK.

    How u backup the movie but still using 5.1 channel?

    dvd shrink for dvd backups, and dvd decryptor + gurdian for divx backups, you can select what audio you want to back up when ripping, ac3 2 or 5 channel...

  5. This is asked several times a week,the only problem is if you use DTS on a player that doesn't have a built-in decoder and you don't have a HT receiver.
