  1. I just picked up an AIW 7500 from eBay to replace a TV Wonder VE. It looks like I have two choices for connecting the AIW to my sound card. I can connect the AIW output adapter to Line In on my sound card, but I also have an internal Aux-In connector on my sound card so I could also connect the internal connect the internal AIW connector to the Aux-In on the sound card. Is there any advantage to one method over the other?

I have the same card and use the internal connector to the AUX IN on my Soundblaster. I use the external LINE IN for other things though so didn't want to lose it. If you use the internal connector, bear in mind that the external flying lead to go into the LINE IN is still 'live' so could cause problems if it touches the back of the computer case. So this can't happen, I've wrapped a bit of insulating tape around the plug.

    Internal usually sounds better.

I had issues on a few occasions with hissing , when using the external connection. Solved by using the internal connection.
