I have caputred and AVI file using MGI 3 and when trying to convert to a Video CD file using TMPG 2.0 it seems to cut the sides of the picture. Converting in MGI does not seem to do this.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

When the size of your avi is 352x240 (NTSC) of 352x288 (PAL/SECAM), TMPGenc suggest that the source is 4:3 (leave it as is, don't overrule to be 1:1 VGA - like they say at this site. Only when the source uses a different size, only then set to 1:1 VGA (TMPGenc will decide this).
As source, use "Full (keep aspect ratio)". That should do it. You alway's get a black border, but when the mpg is played onto a TV you won't notice this, while a tv cuts those borders too.
