  1. I've had 2 vcds now that will not play on my Pioneer DV535 but will play fine on the PC.
    They look like a standard VCD. I've even run the .dat file through VCDGear and reburnt the Mpeg with Nero, but it still wont play.
    I've tried these in another dvdplayer and the same thing??
    Why is this and how do I get around it.
    Trying to re-encode the Mpeg at the moment to see if that works.

    are you sure its standard? (size and bitrate)
    i dont know about that player but maby it is media problem.

  3. yes it's standard PAL. Ripped off a DVD. If it's not NERO wouldn't burn it.

    Stop the Press..
    Re-encoded with TMPGEnc and now plays ok
