  1. can anyone tell me how to burn an mpeg file to a cd so it works in a stand alone vcd player??
    Do I need to change the file to a .DAT file or add anymore files to the cd

    OH WAIT thats where you are perhaps you should be reading not talking. i would suggest starting with the sectioned titled AUTHOR where it explains how to burn a vcd

  3. yes I know that but if you put an original vcd in your pc and look whats on the cd, none of the files are mpeg files. they are .bin, .cue, .DAT or .vcd files so I was wondering why would a vcd player read mpeg files?

    how much more do you want than a step by step guide with pictures and arrows and notes to tell you exactly what to do. did you even look ?
