    The "free version" is a TRIAL and can found here:
    http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/

    All of their trials are on this page. Photoshop, Premiere, etc.

  5. You could try asking Adobe nicely, but otherwise you will need to pay them for the full version. You never know - I had a mate who asked Magura for some free brakes (mountain bike). A few days later, a set of Gustav disc brakes landed on his doorstep.

    As canadateck says, a trial version is available.

    Not necessarily, you could ask for a copy of AVID for free. They make a freeware version. How does stuck know that Adobe don't do the same? (Assuming lack of web browsing skills and/or looked but can't find it...)

    Lots of scanners. They used to include Photoshop SE but now it tends to be Photoshop Elements, which I suppose is Photoshop SE nowadays. A cut-down version but Photoshop nontheless.
