I dragged and droped an AC3 file into the appropriate box and had an error : "No audio track found in the file".

  7. Does the AC3 work when you drag it onto VLC or MPlayer? Maybe Sizzle is telling the truth about the lack of audio.

  8. No. The audio file can be read onto VLC or Itunes

Are you sure this is an ac3 track? Because if it is I dont see how you played it in iTunes.

  12. I Just switched over to 0.5b2, and now ac3 tracks (created in a.pack) that used to work for background audio have stopped working. When I drop a file that ffmpegx identifies as ac3, 48000 Hz, 448 kb/s into the Drop Menu Background Audio box, I get the error message "Could not open audio source<cr> No audio tracks were found in <filename>"

Also, when I try to drop a 5:1 ac3 track created in ffmpegx into audio for one of my titles, I get the warning message "Potential audio problem<cr> Audio in <filename> is not 48KHz. It is not a valid DVD stream. The stream will be added, but DVD players may be unable to play it. It may also cause audio sync problems." ffmpegx identifies this file as ac3, 48000 Hz, 5:1, 448 kb/s.

Switching back to 0.5b1 seems to fix this problem (i.e., I am able to use the original ac3 files without warnings or errors).
