  1. 50 pack Memorex DVD-R or DVD+R 4x on sale for $20 at your local Staples.

Has anyone identified these yet? Memorex can vary...

You're actually hoping for CMC? Well, they could be those, but they could be ProdiscF01 or RitekG05 as well.

LOL. Plus at more than .40 per disc it isnt a good deal at all. Heck, its downright a lousy deal.

Do urself a favor and stay well stocked and buy online. It's cheaper and you most likely will know what media code you're getting.

Ur comparing 4x with 8x. Plus, it's still cheaper comparing the mags to mags @4x, plus its tax free, plus Im cool.

The deal says 4x, but 8x media is pictured. I imagine whichever ones the stores have will be on sale, 4x or 8x.

They are good discs and it is a good deal indeed. I manage to burn my 4x maxell @12x so I'm not ready to buy 16x at the moment as 4x does the same. By the way, 12x is almost equal to the 16x burns as far as the time it takes to burn them.

  10. The 8x Memorex at my nearby Staples were Prodisc F01s. I've burned about 12 with excellent results on a Pioneer 108. 40 cents apiece less a $15 off $75 coupon brought the final price down to 32.5 cents on the 4 50-packs I got. Very satisfied.

Well, if anyone is interested in these discs but a lil cheaper, you can price match @officemax and try to use a coupon too. people are having success buying these for $11.84

  12. I just got some Maxells from Office Depot, 25 for $9.95, say 'made in Japan' on them near that UPC label. Better stuff.

Or you could use pcconnection.com & buy a Kanguru 16x dvd writer (its a Nec 3500A cause I got one) for $29.95 after rebates & if you buy 50 fuji dvds from pcconnection.com for $39 with it, they are free after rebate too. Deal was on the main page.
    Your cost $29.95 plus $10 shipping for a Nec 3500 & 50 dvds.
