  1. Hi, I'll start off with saying that I'm a newbie with DVD authoring, so I'd appreciate it if you could give me clear instructions on my problem...
I want to burn a movie on a DVD, but the problem is that the movie is rather long, so it takes up 4.4GB. The computer won't let me burn it even though the disc has 4.7GB of space. What's wrong here and how can I burn the movie? Thanks.

  3. But these programs are for copying existing DVD's, aren't they?
What I need to do is to burn some .ifo .bup. .vob and .png files, which total 4.4GB...how do I do that?

Get DVDShrink. Load your files into there by pressing the Open Files button, and pointing it to your VIDEO_TS.IFO file. For any further info on this process, pick aguide, any guide (there's only 41 to choose from, last time I counted )
    If in doubt, Google it.

A DVD only hold 4.38GB of data.

The "4.7" is not calculated to computer size.
    It's raw calculation.

Sort of like a "120GB hard drive" that's really just 112GB.
