  1. Having a stupid problem with Canopus Procoder 2.0 at the moment, I'm sure there's a logical explanation for this but I'm struggling to find out myself, so...

I can't seem to use more than 7800kbp bitrate for CBR encoding, with PCM wav audio. If I input say 8000kbps, it just goes back to 7800kbps by it's self. However, If I select mpeg2 audio, I can go to e.g. 8000kbps or whatever I like.... but I want wav audio. Any ideas? All others encoders I use allow you to use pretty much whatever bitrate you like, no matter what format the audio is.

    Any help appreciated!

that is because procoder knows that lpcm + mpeg2 will be over the bit rate suggested for dvd max if you go over 7800 ..

if you want to go over - you can just select iso/mpeg as type instead of dvd ... don't really recomend that though ..

btw -- that is covered in the huge manual and documentation that comes with procoder ..
