  1. hi, i need to know if this software is correct for burning dvd from internet files. mpg, avi. also, what does it mean if i received an error message "mp3 is of an unknown or unsupported format" the file can be played but not burned by roxio software. thank you.

    It will burn Dvd's, however, I suggest you buy the dvd.

  4. thanks for the quick post. for media, my drive is a dvdram gma-4020b gateway computer about 2 years old. the drive says "dvd multi-recorder
    re-writable" i'm assuming dvd-rw? +? -? also, did not find anthing on nero 6 ultra if it will work to burn mpg and avi files from internet. thanks, again.

    Try DVD Santa, accepts almost any type of video file and outputs DVD files for burning.

    especially good for internet files

    If you want something that you can throw almost anything at, tick a couple of settings and let it do it's thing, the DVDSanta is for you. If you want to control the situation and customise it in any way, you're looking for a dedicated MPEG encoder such as TMPGEnc Plus, and then an author such as TMPGEnc DVD Author.
    If in doubt, Google it.
