    Hi,

I recorded a music video from MTV and it is already widescreen with a black border top and bottom. The disk has now been authoured but the MTV logo still remains. Is there a program that will allow me to add black plain borders to go over the top of the Logo and other text that is on the screen. I know that in Tmpeg converter there is an option but this is for mpg files but I need a proggy that will do this with vobs etc. Any ideas or am I talking out of my chuff!!

Any answers will be greatfully received.

    Thanks

Ideally, you need to do it at the MPEG stage, or AVI. You can do it with VOBs, but you're looking at frameserving into and encoder. Virtualdub has two filters - delgo and logoaway that might be useful.

https://www.videohelp.com/guides.php?guideid=638&howtoselect=3;6#638 can convert your VOBs back to MPEG if need be.
    If in doubt, Google it.
