I do Digital Audio Recording on the same computer as I capture and edit video. For that reason, I have the sound card that’s built into my motherboard disabled and use my M-audio Delta 1010 for all audio. While I’m capturing video, I get clicks and pops that do not follow to DVD. In other words, I hear clicks and pops in the audio while capturing, but when I burn to DVD, the clicks and pops are gone. WTF? My sample rate within the M-audio Delta 1010 control panel is locked to 48,000 htz. I’ve tried unlocking it but that does not correct the situation. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Why is it a problem if it isn't on the burned DVD?Originally Posted by clothesburner626
It sounds like it's in your playback and not in the recording side. Unless the noise is really annoying, it doesn't sound like a big problem. You could check your speaker cables and maybe try reducing the WAV Playback volume in Audio Properties. -
I wouldnt think it to be a big deal if the fianl DVD doesnt have the pop sounds, Maybe the source does and your card takes care of if...Maybe???
