    I have an XVID file that cannot be played by these following players: Wimdows Media Palyer 10 and Realplayer V10. According to AVIcodec:

    Video Codec : Divx 5.1.1.1031 MPEG 4 codec
    Audio Codec: MPEG 3

    I have played dozens of divx/xvid files on ,y computers, but this one file is causing media player to time out.

    So where it says DivX, that is your decoder or the contained video stream?
