TMPGEnc DVD author PROBLEM PLEASE HELP

i was trying to do vcd to dvd like in the walktrough below. but it keeps freezing when i try to open the AVSEQ01 file whitch is in vcd format. i uploaded the AVSEQ01 file from my vcd (cdr). why wont it load in TMPGEnc DVD author

Did you extract the AVSEQ01 file to an MPEG file using ISOBuster ?

Are you sure you followed the steps in that link correctly? I've done quite a few VCDs-DVD that way with no problems. Without knowing any more I'd guess your problem might be:

You're not clicking 'Extract but FILTER only M2F2 mpeg files'. Or maybe the AVSEQ01 file is the menu file and it's causing a problem- are there other files in the folder?

Are you renaming the file with .mpg for the extension?
