Simple question?
Can I rip a DVD that I burned, and with what software. Also after the rip the file is gonna be huge like 4GB? Can I encode that with some programm and make it smaller?
Thx.

Hello,
If you already made a dvdr out of a commercial dvd simply do a normal disc copy.
If you want to convert it to divx or xvid look in the guides under the "how to" section on the left.

Yes! and Yes!
Your disc is just like a comercial one exept you don't have copy protection so you can just copy the files directly off the disk.
Your question about re-encoding requires more detail.. What destination do you have in mind video cd, avi???
