You'd have thought they could come up with a more flowing name, especially for what is probably the best Authoring tool on the market.

Hello,
I say tempeg(I leave off the encoder part - don't know why, it's just easier to say tempeg,).

As mentioned above, the encoder was originally named Tsunami Mpeg Encoder. TMPGEnc was just what the executable was labeled but I guess the majority of people got confused because everyone thought that was the actual name, so the author just decided to use that instead. So I don't know that there is any intended pronunciation. I've always said Tempeg but I think T mpeg probably makes more sense.

T-MPEG is what I say.

Damb I must be a moron, I really bastardized it and pronounce it as "Temp-edge" OR "Tem-pedge" I knew that it wasn't a word but I can't figure out how to make it flow off my tounge. It kind of looks like it should read "temp-jenk" but that is a tounge twister for me! "temp-jenk" "temp-jenk" "temp-jenk" "temp-jenk" Oh the hell with it, I am calling it "Temp-edge"!
IS IT SUPPOSED TO SMOKE LIKE THAT?
