I realize a fundamentally important piece of software is missing from my system: something to keep track of my time. Using a day planner doesn't fit my digital persona and I still consider PDAs to pretentious. I don't have things that are that important to warrant carrying around what to me looks like two new 36GB SCSI drives for my workstation. I'd like something simple like a day planner but could perhaps "sync" with something I can store securely on my server so I can access it from work or maybe even the cell phone. If anything I'd suffice to have it just on my computer at home that I can access from the other computers on the home LAN. I just need to get dates in order this time of year for all the family/friends garbage I have to go to along with meetings and events with my day job and meetings with clients or due dates on projects for my home business.
And don't mention Outlook or I'll sell your damn email address to the spam lists. Outlook is one of the first things I burn off my computer when I install XP![]()
