  1. i authored a dvd and burned it
during play, the movie skips a little too much to ignore
this is a movie i downloaded and it plays just fine on the comp
i converted using TMPG Xpress 3.0 and authored with DVDLab Pro

after burning i used KProbe and to my surprise, i have very very low error rates http://www.selyb.com/kprobe/kprobe20.png

could this be caused by TMPG?
is there a way to re-encode mpg's using CCE?

i posted here b/c im not sure if its an encoding problem or authoring problem or what
i just know the video plays fine on the comp but the final product skips

What was the format and framerate of your original file? That's usually the cause of the problem.
