pal to ntsc question

ok i think i probably dl'd every convert thing that is on the net. I read the one post here about it ...dvd2avi/headache/tmeg...and it doesn't wanna work on my dvd player...so now im back to bin/cue files that are in pal and im in the US so i need ntsc. Has anyone had a pal bin that they needed to be ntsc and have done it and it came out good on their dvd player? Because when i got done with that headache/tmeg thing the audio was off by a minute and the screen was half green . And when i just try to turn the bins into mpegs and play it, it says play prohibited by area limitations. Ok i think i described how much i could of. Hope someone can help me here been on this for a while . Thanks for the help

Oh and i saw the other ntsc/pal question posted below this but i have a brand new sony dvd player and wega tv, just dont want to buy another so i asked this question

There is a section to the left that says "how to". Click on the convert section and look for a guide on pal to ntsc conversion. It will tell you everything you need to know in detailed steps.
