?? OK, what went wrong with the tools you've tried?
Can you play the DVD if you mount the .img with Daemon Tools and play it with PowerDVD /WinDVD?

"Illegal disc"? Never had that one! (Or is this the new feature in Nero, where RIAA has made them incorporate an image scanner that scans for unreleased movies? - Just kidding!
Try mounting the image to see what's inside, and try to play it.

  5. I mounted the image and it plays fine on my computer.

I was able to burn the file using CopytoDVD, however at certain points in the movie the picture freezes temporarily. It doesnt do that on my computer.

I had the same error message from both Nero and RecordNow when I tried to use rw media, but bunt ok to just r media

the img was not from a rw disc and I just figured it was a disc format issue and used the r meadia.

Not an answer, just a confirmation of same issue

  7. To burn dvd huh..
I use Alchohol 120% to burn ps games from ccd or cue files. If you have ccd or cue file along with that img file, this could work. It sets up a imaginary drive, so you can mount the file on there, and then burn it using disk to disk.

There's another alternate if you do not. You can google for isobuster, its free, and load the file. Right click it and it says, extract iso, cue, bin from file. Do so, and mount the resulting iso or cue file onto the image drive.
